Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet your Jesh Tours guide, and transfer to Mille Collines Hotel. Enjoy a briefing and settle in. Dinner and overnight in Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali City & Bugesera

Explore Kigali’s history at the Genocide Memorial, Belgian camp, and Campaign Against Genocide Museum. After lunch, visit Bugesera Reconciliation Village to hear testimonies and engage in local activities. Return to Kigali for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Akagera Game Drive & Lake Ihema Cruise

Transfer to Akagera National Park for a game drive, seeking diverse wildlife and birds. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Ihema to see hippos, crocodiles, and more. Overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 4: Full Day Akagera Exploration

Spend a full day exploring Akagera’s wilderness, searching for giraffes, buffalo, antelopes, and other wildlife. Enjoy the park’s landscapes and historical sites. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge.

Day 5: To Nyungwe via Historical Sites

Drive to Nyungwe National Park, stopping en route to visit the King’s Palace in Nyanza and the National Ethnographic Museum. Continue to Nyungwe and check in to Kivu Marina Bay Hotel.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk

Early chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe Forest. After lunch, experience the thrilling canopy walkway for stunning forest views and birdwatching. Evening at leisure at Kivu Marina Bay Hotel on Lake Kivu.

Day 7: Kibuye & Lake Kivu Boat Trip

Drive to Kibuye on Lake Kivu, enjoying scenic views. After lunch, take a boat cruise to Napoleon and Amahoro Islands. Visit the Environment Museum in the afternoon. Overnight at Cormoran Lodge.

Day 8: Volcanoes NP – Culture or Canoe

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Choose to visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village or RedRocks, or enjoy a canoe trip on the Mukungwa River. Dinner and overnight at Ingagi Parkview.

Day 9: Golden Monkey Trekking

Early trek to see the endangered golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking & Kigali Departure

Experience the unforgettable mountain gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park. After the trek and lunch, transfer back to Kigali for your departure flight.
